Errors and Countermeasures
Reader/Writer Operation Errors
 User Configuration Memory Error
Initialize the settings to restore normal operation. There are the following two ways to initialize the
Reader/Writer.
 Initializing with a Query Message from the Host Device
You can send the INITIALIZE SETTINGS query to the Reader/Writer to return the settings to the
default values. The query format is given below.

 Initializing through the Web Server
You can connect a computer to the network, start a Web browser, and return the settings to the default
values from the Web browser window.
Refer to Initializing the Settings in Configuration in Section 8 Browser Interface for the procedure to Initializing through the Web

 Unfixed Operation Mode Error or User Configuration Memory (Host
Device Communications Conditions Settings) Error
Identify the error on the Error Log View in the Web browser and restore operation with the
countermeasure.
Refer to Log View in Section 8 Browser Interface for the procedure to check the error log contents from the Web browser window.

 Unfixed Operation Mode Error
See if the control signal line in the V680S Cable is connected correctly to the 24 VDC terminal on the
power source. Check for sources of noise around the Cable.
