Thank you for selecting OMRON product. This sheet primarily describes pre-
cautions required in installing and operating the product.
Before operating the product, read the sheet thoroughly to acquire sufficient
knowledge of the product. For your convenience, keep the sheet at your disposal.

安全上の要点
製品を安全に使用するため、 以下のこ と を守って く だ さ い。
1. 設置および保管場所について
・発熱量の高い機器 ( ヒータ、 ト ラ ンス、 大容量の抵抗 ) の近く に取付ける
こ と は避けて く だ さ い。
・複数のリ ーダライ タ を隣接設置さ れる場合、 相互干渉によ り交信性能が
低下する恐れがあ り ますので、 「 V680S シ リ ーズ リ ーダライ タ ユーザーズ
マニュアル (Man.No.SDGR-710)」 の 「リ ーダライ タの相互干渉」 を参照
し、 リ ーダライ タ間の相互干渉が無いこ と を確認 して く だ さ い。
2. 取付け・取外 しについて
・AC 電源では絶対に使用 しないで く だ さ い。 破裂する恐れがあ り ます。
・誤配線 しないで く だ さ い。 破裂 した り焼損する恐れがあ り ます。
・Ethernet ケー ブルを接続する上位機器 （スイ ッ チングハブや PLC な ど）
はSTP 対応機器を ご使用の上、 上位機器を確実に D 種接地 して く だ さ い。
3. 使用方法について
・ケー ブルを半径 40mm 以下で曲げないで く だ さ い。 断線する恐れがあ り ます。
・万一、 製品に異常を感じ た時には、 す ぐに使用を中止 し、 電源を切っ た上で、
当社支店・営業所ま でご相談く だ さ い。
・ （一社） 日本自動認識システム協会のガイ ドライ ンに従い、 アンテナ部を植え
込み型心臓ペース メ ーカ等の装着部位か ら 22cm 以内に近づけないで く
だ さ い。
4. 清掃について
・シ ンナー、 ベンゼン、 アセ ト ン、 灯油は樹脂部材やケース塗装に悪影響を及
ぼす場合があ り ます。 ユーザーズマニュアルの 「耐薬品性」 を参照 し、 影響
のある薬品は使用 しないで く だ さ い。
5. 廃棄について
・本製品を廃棄する際は、 産業廃棄物と して処理 して く だ さ い。
PRECAUTIONS FOR SAFE USE
Observe the following precautions to ensure safe usage of the
product.
1. Installation and Storage Environment
・ Do not install the Products near any equipment that generates
a large amount of heat (such as heaters,transformers, and
large-capacity resistors).
・ If many Reader/Writer are mounted near each other,
communications performance may decrease due to mutual
interference. Refer to Reference Data in Section 7
s Manual and check to make sure there is
no mutual interference.
2. Installation and Removing
・ Do not use the AC power supply.
・ Do not perform wiring incorrectly. Doing so may result in
rupture or damage from burning.
・ Use a device supporting STP cables for the host device (such
as an Ethernet switch or PLC). Ground the host device to a
ground resistance of 100 Ω or less.
3. Using
・ Do not bend the cable past a bending radius of 40 mm. The
cable may be disconnected.
・ If you find an abnormal operation of the product, immediately
stop its operation and turn OFF the power supply. Consult
with an OMRON representative.
4. Cleaning
・ Using thinner, benzene, acetone, or kerosene for cleaning may
affect the resin parts and the surface of the case.
For detail,refer to the Chemical Resistance in the User's
Manual.
5. Disposing
・ Dispose of the Products as industrial waste.
使用上の注意
1. 設置および保管場所について
次のよ う な場所では使用および保管 しないで く だ さ い。
・引火性ガス、 爆発性ガス、 腐食性ガス、 塵埃、 金属粉、 塩分がある場所では
使用および保管 しないで く だ さ い。
・周囲温度、 周囲湿度が仕様で定め ら れている範囲を超え る場所では使用
および保管 しないで く だ さ い。
・温度が急激に変化する場所、 結露する場所では使用および保管 しないで く
だ さ い。
・仕様で定め ら れる以上の振動や衝撃が本体に直接伝わる場所では使用
および保管 しないで く だ さ い。
2. 取付け・取外 しについて
・ 本製品は13.56MHz の周波数帯を使用 してRFタ グ と交信を行っています。
ト ラ ンシーバ、 モータ、 イ ンバータ、 スイ ッ チング電源な どの中には RF タ グ と
の交信に影響を与え る電波 （ノ イ ズ） を発生する ものがあ り ます。 これ らの機
器が周囲にある こ と で RF タ グ との交信に影響を与えた り、 RF タ グの破壊
等の原因になる場合があ り ます。 これ らの機器の近く で本製品を ご使用に
なる場合には事前に影響を確認の上、 ご使用いただ く よ う にお願い致 し ま
す。
・リ ーダライ タ を RUN モー ドで動作さ せる場合は、 制御信号を電源の +24V
に接続 して く だ さ い。 制御信号を電源の 0V に接続する と リ ーダライ タはセ
ー フモー ドで起動 し ます。
・定格電圧範囲を超えて使用 しないで く だ さ い。 破壊 した り焼損 した り する恐
れがあ り ます。
・製品本体を取り付ける際のね じ絞め トルクは 1.2N・m と して く だ さ い。
・ケー ブルコネ ク タの絞め付け トルクは、 0.39 ∼ 0.49N・m で確実に取り
付けて く だ さ い。
・二股分岐ケー ブルは M4 ね じ で し っか り固定 して使用 して く だ さ い。
3 使用方法について
・製品本体を落下さ せないで く だ さ い。
・ケー ブル部は強く 引っ張ら ないで く だ さ い。
・本製品の分解・修理改造を しないで く だ さ い。
・油が製品本体にかかる環境で使用さ れる場合は、 使用さ れる油が製品本
体に使用 している樹脂への影響がないこ と を ご確認く だ さ い。
4. 保守について
・日常・定期的な点検を実施く だ さ い。
PRECAUTIONS FOR CORRECT USE
1. Installation and Storage Environment
Do not use or store the Product in the following locations.
・Locations subject to corrosive gases, dust, dirt, metal powder, or
salt.
・Locations where ambient temperature or ambient humidity range
is over the specified.
・Locations subject to extreme temperature changes that may
result in dew condensation.
・Locations where the product would be directly subjected to
vibration or shock exceeding specifications.

2. Installation

・The Products communicate with RF Tags using the 13.56-MHz
frequency. Any transceivers, motors, inverters, or switching power
supplies generate noise that can affect communications with the
Tags and cause errors. If such devices are located near the Tags,
always test operation in advance to confirm whether the system
may be affected.
・ When you use the Reader/Writer in RUN mode, the control
signal should be connected to the +24 V of the power supply
the Reader/Writer will operate in safe mode when the control
signal is connected to 0 V of the power supply.
・ Do not exceed the rated voltage range. Doing so may result in
Product destruction or burning.
・ Securely tighten the screws to a torque of 1.2N ・ m when
mounting the Reader/Writer.
・ Use a tightening torque of 0.3 to 0.49N ・ m when mounting the
cable connector.
・ Please fix the branch cable with M4 screws tightly.
3. Prohibitions
・ Do not drop the Products.
・ Do not pull on the cables with excessive strength.
・ Do not attempt to disassemble, repair, or modify the Procuct.
・ If the Reader/Writer is installed in an environment where oil is
splashed, please confirm that there is no oil impact to the resin
that is used in the Reader/Writer.

・ The Reader/Writer must be inspected on a daily or regular basis.
