Installing the battery

The 4200 FlexScan FTIR comes with two lithium-ion batteries, which
are fully charged. Each battery gives approximately 4 hours of run
time. A battery charger is also included; refer to the battery charger
manual for information on its operation. There is an LCD display on
the front of the battery indicating the level of charge. Five (5) bars
indicate a full charge.
The 4200 FlexScan FTIR has a door on the front of the handle. The
door on the front gives access to the system battery. The door must
remain closed and locked while the system is in use. The 4200
FlexScan should arrive with one battery in the shipping case.
