Replace the inv erter
Follow the procedure step by step to correctly diagnose the problem. Take particular care with the
checks highlighted by circled numbers, which are described in detail below:
Place the tester probes across the NC and C contacts of the limit switch. The contact should

be closed when the microswitch is not pressed, and open when the microswitch is pressed.
As for step (1) but across pins 1 and 2 of patch connector M.

As for step (1) but across pins 5 and 6 of connector X3 on the elevation + cutout board.
(3)
Place the tester probes across pins 7 and 8 of connector X5 on the elevation + cutout board.
(4)
The value should be –24 Vdc when the microswitch is not pressed, and 0 Vdc when it is
pressed.
As for step (4) but across pins 17 and 6 of the inverter.
