Remove the system air baffle

Power down the server (on page 22).

Remove all power:

Disconnect each power cord from the power source.

Disconnect each power cord from the server.

Unlock the front bezel (on page 23).

Place the server on its side.
4.
Remove the access panel (on page 24).
5.
If installed, remove the PCI air baffle (on page 26).

Remove the system air baffle.

Install the system air baffle

CAUTION: For proper cooling do not operate the server without the access panel, baffles,
expansion slot covers, or blanks installed.
Insert the system air baffle.
