Correctly Adj u sted API 1
n. Adjust A32R49 (API 1 , see Figure 5-46) for a minimum amount of ripple on the scope
waveform . (See Figure 5- 1 8 .)
o . Set the 35 85A controls for:
p. Verify that the MANUAL frequency now reads 1 ,000,050 Hz on the CRT display.
q. Adjust A32R56 (API2, see Figure 5-46) for a minimum amount of ripple on the scope
waveform . (See Figure 5-1 8 . )
r. Disconnect the oscilloscope connections. This completes the Fractional N adj ustments .
5· 1 4. L.O. Step Loop Adjustments
a. Turn the 3 585A power off. Place the Step VTO board (A23) on a PC extender. Turn
the power back on .
