e. Allow a complete sweep to occur, then enter:

5·30. First Le Stage Adjustment
a. Move test jumper A 1 7 J2 to the "OP" position and test jumper A 1713 to the "T" posi­
tion.
b. Set the 3585A controls for:

f. Adjust A 1 7R 1 2 for a marker amplitude reading of .OOdB.
g. Move test jumper A 1 713 to the "OP" position. Check that all test jumpers on the A 1 7
board are in the "OP " position.
h. Turn the 3585A power off. Remove the A17 board from the PC extender and replace it
in the card nest.
i. Replace the metal cover over the A 1 7 - A 1 9 boards. Insert and tighten down all screws
that hold down the cover. Restore power to the 3585A.
I f continuing DO NOT reconnect green cable at this time.
