6.5. UPDATING
EXPERT VIDEO SW
Once the restore from USB key of the Expert PC is complete, the result is a functioning system but
without the Wellness Expert application installed.
There are three options for installing the application:

• Network installation.

• Installation from external USB key.

• Installation from external CD-ROM drive.
The choice of method depends solely on the situation and the equipment that is available at that
time.
6.5.1. N
ETWORK INSTALLATION
Network installation makes it possible to locally or remotely install any program without much
difficulty. The procedure is as follows:
1. Connect the Wellness Expert on a network with other PCs.
2. Share the CD-ROM drive of one of the network computers.
3. Insert the CD containing the "Wellness Expert" software into the shared drive.
4. On to the Wellness Expert PC, use "My Network" to access the shared CD-ROM drive.
5. Launch the "Setup" install program.
6. At the end of the installation procedure, the following message appears: "To install Wellness
Expert Video files, after the machine reboot, insert the Wellness Expert Videos CD". Click
"OK".
7. A dialog prompting to restart the computer appears on the screen. Choose "Yes, I want to restart
my computer now".
8. In the shared CD-ROM drive, replace the CD containing the "Wellness Expert" software with
the "Wellness Expert Video" CD.
9. Return to the Wellness Expert PC and use "My Network" to access the shared CD-ROM drive.
10. Launch the "Setup" install program.
11. At the end of the installation procedure, the Wellness Expert software is ready to be used.
12. Remove the CDs and store them both for future installations.
6.5.2. I
NSTALLATION FROM EXTERNAL
Installation from a USB key requires use of a 1Gbyte key. The procedure is as follows:
1. Using another PC equipped with CD-ROM drive, copy the contents of the entire "Wellness
Expert" CD onto the USB key.
2. Go to the Wellness Expert and insert the USB key into one of the four ports provided on the
base of the machine.
3. Use "Windows Explorer" to access the contents of the key and install the software by launching
the "Setup" install program.
4. At the end of the installation procedure, the following message appears: "To install Wellness
Expert Video files, after the machine reboot, insert the Wellness Expert Videos CD". Click
"OK".
