Conformance to Shipbuilding Standards

Some CJ-series PLCs and NJ-series Controllers comply with shipbuilding standards. Refer to the
OMRON website (http://www.ia.omron.com/) or consult your OMRON representative for the applicable
standards for each model. If you use a CJ or an NJ-series product that complies with shipbuilding stan-
dards and the machinery or system in which you use the CJ or NJ-series products must also comply
with the standards, consult with your OMRON representative. Application conditions are defined
according to the installation location. Application may not be possible for some installation locations.
Usage Conditions for NK and LR Shipbuilding Standards
• The CJ-series PLC or the NJ-series Controller must be installed within a control panel.
• Gaps in the door to the control panel must be completely filled or covered with gaskets or other mate-
rial.
• The following noise filter must be connected to the power supply line.

Observe the following precaution if you use the CJ1W-ECT21 EtherCAT Slave Units in Korea.
