5-2-2 Corrective Actions When the CPU Unit's Indicators are Lit or
Flashing
Use the following table to troubleshoot the system when the CPU Unit's ERR indicator is lit or flashing
when the EtherCAT Slave Unit is mounted.
Error
An I/O verification error occurred.
A CPU Bus Unit setting error
occurred.
A CPU Bus Unit error occurred.
An I/O bus error occurred.
Refer to the CPU Unit's user's manual for details.

Error Cause
RUN
--- IN Port The IN port link
Link OFF is turned off
after turned on
once.
OUT Port The OUT port
Link OFF link is turned off
after turned on
once.
Lit Restart The Unit was
restarted.
The voltage is
present in the
Unit immedi-
ately after
power is turned
OFF. The
power is turned
ON in this state.
• Confirm that the Unit is connected properly.
• Compare the Unit configuration with the actual configuration of Units
and correct the Unit configuration.
A Unit model in the Unit configuration is different from the Unit model
that is mounted in the Controller. Compare the Unit configuration with
the actual configuration of Units and correct the Unit configuration.
• Confirm that the Unit is connected properly.
• Restart the Unit. Replace the Unit if it does not restart.
• Confirm that the Unit is connected properly.
• Restart the Unit. Replace the Unit if it does not restart.
