Turn on the 34980A and open the web interface. Select the 'Browser Web
Control' page. See "Getting Started with the 34945A Web-Enabled
Interface" for instructions on opening the Web page.
Select 'Allow Full Control' and in the 'Browser Web Control' window, locate
the bank and Y1156A programming diagram. An example of the diagram is
shown in Figure 4-8. For this example, the 34945A is installed in 34980A
slot 2.
From the bank configuration window, select '

From the remote module configuration window, set the

Apply
Click the "Create Verification Sequence" button. This button defines the
verification sequence for the bank and opens the "Sequences..." window.
With the defined sequence highlighted, select 'Execute Sequence' to start
the sequence. The sequence will pass through the channel list three times. If
the signal path to the bank and each channel is complete, the LEDs located
on the board will illuminate as each channel in the list is closed.
Once the sequence completes, set the
Y1156A to the next bank. Click the "Update View" button located in the
upper-right corner of the 'Browser Web Control' window to refresh the Web
page with the new location of the Y1156A. Repeat steps 5-7 to test the signal
path to the channels in the next bank.
The "Create Verification Sequence" button that appears next to the Y1156 pro-
gramming diagram is provided only when the Y1156A verification board is
installed. The button does not appear with any other distribution board.
Once the verification sequence successfully completes, the sequence can be
deleted. The (verification) sequence is defined for the bank each time the "Create
Verification Sequence" button is selected.
