System requirements

To install the iR C2100/2100S user software on a Windows or Mac OS
computer, the computer must be equipped with a built-in or external
CD-ROM drive.

Windows

To print to the iR C2100/2100S, you need:
• A Windows-based computer with an 80486, AMD, or Pentium processor
• Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows 2000, or Windows NT 4.0
• At least 16MB of RAM for Windows 95
• At least 24MB of RAM for Windows 98
• At least 32MB of RAM for Windows NT 4.0
• At least 64MB of RAM for Windows 2000
With Microsoft Windows 95/98, you also need:
• IPX/SPX or TCP/IP networking protocol installed
• Adobe PostScript Printer Driver for Windows version 4.2 or later
(version 4.3.1 is included with the user software)
With Microsoft Windows NT 4.0 and Windows 2000, you also need:
• IPX/SPX, TCP/IP, or AppleTalk networking protocol installed
• Microsoft PostScript Printer Driver for Windows 2000
(Microsoft 5 is included with the user software)
• Adobe PostScript Printer Driver for Windows NT 4.0, version 5.0
(version 5.1.1 is included with the user software)
To use the Fiery utilities (Fiery Downloader, ColorWise Pro Tools, and
Fiery Link), you also need:
• Either Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows 2000, or Windows NT 4.0
with NT Service Pack 6a or later
• At least 48MB of RAM; 56MB of RAM is recommended
