57 Using the software for the first time
T
O CONFIGURE THE CONNECTION FOR
1. Launch ColorWise Pro Tools by double-clicking its icon or by choosing it from
the Start >Programs >Fiery Menu.
2. The Choose Printer Device dialog box appears.
3. If you have previously configured a Windows connection to the
iR C2100/2100S, then you are ready to use ColorWise Pro Tools. If you
have not configured a connection, click Add.
4. Enter the appropriate information for the iR C2100/2100S.
—Enter a name for the iR C2100/2100S. This can be any
Nickname
name you wish; it does not have to match the actual server name of the
iR C2100/2100S.
The nickname cannot contain any of the following seven characters:
