between the aircraft and the
satellite network. The HSD
Transceiver acts as a Mobile
Earth Station.
The beam coverage area of an
Inmarsat satellite.
A subnet mask is used to determine
what subnet an IP address belongs
to. Subnetting allows the network
administrator to divide the host part
of the address into two or more
subnets.
An ISDN modem device.
