The diagram in Figure 7 illustrates these settings for a circuit with two sensors in-
stalled in the hot-water tank:

This charging proecedure is used in application 5, 6, 7,
8 and 17. The hot-water service system has indirect
storage tank charging and the tank has no internal heat
exchanger.
For this type of system, the following settings are avail-
able:

Description
Charging starts when the upper tank
temperature falls below the setpoint mi-
nus the cut-in difference
Charging ends when the lower tank tem-
perature reaches the setpoint minus the
cut-out difference. Alternatively, charg-
ing ends when the maximum charging
time is exceeded (see page 56)
