10.2.2 Pump/Valve Settings

This section describes the parameters you can set in pictures under the Pump/valve
menu item.
The following parameters can be set for pump operation:

Default value, Description

Default value: The number of minutes the pump will

temperature setpoint has dropped below

20 °C. After this, the pump will be

Default value: When the pump has been stopped for 72
ON hours, pump exercise will take place,
provided that this parameter is ON. This

will be started and run for 1 minute
Default value: During the night setback period, it is
OFF generally desirable to stop the pump, or
at least reduce the number of revolutions.
Range:
ON, OFF When a normal pump is used, the pa-
rameter is set to OFF. In this case, the
controller stops the pump when the cal-
culated flow temperature drops below
20 °C.
The ON setting is used for pumps with
control of the differential pressure across
the pump. This type of pump has a sepa-
rate input that can be used to instruct the
pump to reduce its number of revolu-
tions.
When the Night stop parameter is set to
ON, the ECL 2000 sends a STOP signal
to the pump as soon as a night setback
period starts, thus causing the pump to
reduce its number of revolutions, re-
gardless of other pump control criteria.
