The transmitted-light base TL RCI has two elec-
tronic potentiometers that control the color
intensity (1) and color temperature (2).
The controller for the color temperature simul-
taneously serves as an electronic shutter:
To interrupt your work, click the potentio-
meter (2).
Click again to switch on the illumination.
The electronics return to the previously
configured settings.
Bases
Using a USB mouse (only TL RCI)
The Leica USB mouse controls the CCIC and
dimming function of the TL RCI base. Connect
the mouse to the corresponding USB port of
the base.
The scroll wheel of the mouse is occupied
by default with the CCIC control system and
is used to control the illumination intensity.
To switch the illumination on or off, briefly
click the scroll wheel.
To enter or exit dimming mode, click and
hold down the scroll wheel for longer than
2 seconds.
