SATA and SAS Ports
The X11SPW-CTF/-TF has eight I-SATA 3.0 ports and two S-SATA 3.0 ports that are supported
by the Intel C622 chipset. In addition to the SATA 3.0 ports, the X11SPW-CTF has four SAS
3.0 ports that are supported by the LSI 3008 controller.
M.2 Slot
M.2 is formerly known as Next Generation Form Factor (NGFF). The M.2 slot is designed for
internal mounting devices. The X11SPW-CTF/-TF motherboard deploys an M key dedicated
for SSD devices with the ulitmate performance capability in a PCI Express 3.0 X4 interface
for native PCI-E SSD support. It can also support SATA devices.
