Pillow to the cell (the
prepared sample).
Cap the cell and
shake for 20 seconds.
Note: A pink color will
develop if free chlorine
is present.
Note: Accuracy is not
affected by undissolved
powder.
Note: Shaking the cell
dissipates bubbles
which may form in
samples containing
dissolved gases.

Immediately
(within 1 minute of
reagent addition)
place the prepared
sample into the cell
holder.
Note: In bright light it
may be necessary to
close the cell
compartment cover.
