Add 0.5 mL of
the palladium
activator sample to
one of the mixing
cylinders (the
prepared sample).
The other cylinder
will be the blank.
Note: Use a TenSette
pipet or 0.5 volumetric
pipet.

Add the contents
of one Sodium
Metabisulfite
Reagent Powder
Pillow to each
cylinder. Stopper and
invert several times to
mix.

of one Chromium 1
Reagent Powder
Pillow to each
cylinder. Stopper and
invert several times to
mix.
11.
Add 1.0 mL of
N,N'-Dimethyl-
dithiooxamide
Indicator Solution to
each cylinder.
Stopper and invert
several times to mix.
Note: Pressure may
build up when the
indicator is added. Use
a paper towel to remove
the stopper if this
occurs.
