RHODIUM
For surface finishing solutions
N,N'-Dimethyldithiooxamide Method*
1.
Dilute the
rhodium bath solution
by pipetting 1.0 mL
of bath solution into a
250-mL volumetric
flask. Fill the flask to
the mark with
demineralized water.
Cap and invert at least
10 times to mix.
Note: If the bath
solution has more than
15 g/gal of rhodium a
larger dilution is
necessary.
Note: The DR/700 must
be calibrated before
samples can be
analyzed. See
Calibration section.
*User calibration required; range is approximate
(0 to 14 g/gal)

Fill a 25-mL
graduated mixing
cylinder to the 10-mL
mark with the diluted
bath solution (the
prepared sample).

Fill a second
25-mL graduated
mixing cylinder to the
10-mL mark with
demineralized water
(the blank).
