11. Pinch the tab of the mounting stud and press the mounting stud downward. Then, turn the mounting
stud 90-degree clockwise to secure the heat sink to the flex adapter.

12. Pivot the cover of the flex adapter as shown until you hear a click. The cover is secured in position.

13. Install the flex adapter into the flex adapter slot. See "Flex adapter" on page 169.
Note: If your computer is installed with only one flex adapter, ensure that you install the flex adapter into
the flex adapter slot 1. See "Parts on the system board" on page 35.
