Attach
a
60 mm

length of mechanic's wire to the lock
nut

the
damper rod
.
Wipe off any excess oil
from
fork spring, then install it over
wire into the slider with tapered side
facing
up.
Pull the
mechanic's wire up and hold the damper rod at the oil
lock
valve.
Remove
the mechanic's wire from the rod.
