Procedure
1. Using a soft sponge, a wool cloth, or chamois, wipe the polycarbonate shield with lukewarm water
containing a neutral detergent, such as Formula 409, Windex, or Joy
Never use razor blades, scrapers, squeegees, or brushes. Do not leave cleaners on for a long
period, or apply cleaners in direct sunlight or at elevated temperatures.
Note: Be very careful not to scratch the polycarbonate shield.
2. Rinse off cleaners with lukewarm water.

Clean Carpet

You can clean the carpet by vacuuming daily and treating spots when they occur.
Procedure
▪ Vacuum daily using a vacuum cleaner with a cylinder brush.
Be careful not to bump into the media wall. Doing so may mis-align the camera, resulting in
compromised video.
▪ Treat spots and spills as soon as they occur.
Always try to remove the spot with water before using a spotting solution.

Clean Ceiling Microphone Arrays

You can clean the ceiling microphone arrays with a feather duster as needed.
Procedure
» Gently dust with a feather duster as needed.

Clean Chairs

You can clean the chairs by vacuuming or dusting the leather frequently. You can use mild soap for soiled
leather.
Procedure
▪ For Steelcase-Amia chairs, vacuum or dust the leather frequently with a clean, dry cloth.
▪ If the leather is soiled, wipe it with a damp, soft cloth and a lather of any mild soap and a minimum
amount of lukewarm water.
Do not spot clean leather; clean the entire surface. Wipe it clean with a damp cloth and dry it with a
clean, soft cloth.
▪ For spots and spills, wipe the excess liquid immediately with a clean cloth or sponge, and let the
leather air dry.
If further cleaning is necessary, sponge the entire leather surface with clean, lukewarm water. Let
the leather air dry; never use a hair dryer or other heat source to dry leather.
