8 TROUBLESHOOTING

8.2.6 Temperature conversion value cannot be read

Check whether the used channel has been set for conversion
disable.
Check whether the PLC CPU is set for STOP.

8.2.7 Temperature conversion value is abnormal

Check whether the platinum temperature-measuring resistor differs
from the one specified.
Check whether the connected platinum temperature-measuring
resistor is connected reversely.
Check for noise in the platinum temperature-measuring resistor
input.
Check whether conversion is made with the other platinum
temperature-measuring resistor specified after setting of the
offset/gain value.

Set it for conversion enable in sequence program.
Set the PLC CPU for RUN.
Set the platinum temperature-measuring resistor connected to the
switch 1 in the intelligent function module switch setting.
Connect the platinum temperature-measuring resistor correctly.
Check influence from the ground and adjacent devices, and take
action to prevent noise.
Make offset/gain setting again after changing the platinum
temperature-measuring resistor.
