Procedure
1. If installed, remove the security bezel.
2. Remove the drive blank.

About this task
The chassis can support up to 12 drives in an LFF configuration and up to 24 drives in an SFF configuration.
WARNING:
To reduce the risk of injury from electric shock, do not install more than one drive carrier at a time.
CAUTION:
To prevent improper cooling and thermal damage, do not operate the chassis unless all bays are
populated with either a component or a blank.
Procedure
1. If installed, remove the security bezel.
2. Remove the drive blank.
3. Prepare the drive.
