10. Firmware Upgrade Procedures

Future updates may be released to improve the functionality of this KVM switch.
You can check if new updates are available for your product by visiting
http://support.dlink.com. This KVM switch provides firmware upgrades for the
following functions:
USB console: Updates for USB console keyboard/mouse compatibility.
The firmware filename for the USB console will be labeled like
Dlink_KVM_Vxxx_bx.USB
PS/2 console:
The firmware filename for the PS/2 console will be labeled like
Dlink_KVM_Vxxx_bx.PS2
OSD: Updates for on-screen-display functions.
The firmware filename for the OSD will be labeled like
Dlink_KVM_Vxxx_bx.OSD
To update the firmware, please do the following:
1.
Disconnect all cables connecting the KVM to the computers.
2.
Disconnect all keyboards and mice plugged into the KVM console.
3.
Disconnect the display monitor from the KVM console.
4.
Connect the DC 5V power adapter to the KVM.
