6.2.8 Key Fob

The AT&T model number SW-ATT-FOB is an encrypted four-button key fob transmitter
that features over 16 billion different encrypted code sequences. Three buttons have
been assigned a task within the Digital Life System, as shown in Figure 63.

Arm-Stay Button

The key fob is battery operated. Under normal operation when a button is pressed on
the key fob, the red LED at the top of the key fob will emit a solid flash during the
transmission to the DLC. If the battery in the key fob is low and needs to be replaced,
when a button is depressed, the red LED will flash quickly during the transmission to the
DLC.

Key Fob Functions
Action
Fully arms the security portion of the Digital Life System,
including door/window sensors and motion detectors.
Disarms the security portion of the Digital Life System.
Arms the window/door sensors only. Does not arm the
motion detectors on the Digital Life System.
No action.
