PARAMETER 23:
Time Terminator
Once this is done, use the

ASCII [20].
Advancing to Next Parameter:
After programming PARAMETER 22, press the N key to advance to
PARAMETER 23 – the next parameter in Category C.
The CP-220A displays the parameter just programmed [PARAMETER
NUMBER 22] with its first digit flashing, indicating its request for the
next parameter number. Press either:
• 2 then 3 , or

TIME TERMINATOR 14
Background:
PARAMETER 23 has been factory programmed with the ASCII code [14]
representing the character known as the time terminator, which serves as
the "marker" generated by the CP-220A to indicate the end of the time/date
string it transfers to the computer (see PARAMETER 13 on page 2-86).
PARAMETER 23 was meant to remain as factory programmed, and must
not be altered at any time.

Programming Procedures
After programming PARAMETER 23, press the N key to advance to
PARAMETER 24 – the next parameter in Category C.
