7 Maintenance

7.11.1 Replacing headlight lamp (Wildcat)

Replace headlight lamp as follows:
1. Unscrew two screws on headlight housing.
2. Open the headlight housing and take reflector insert out.
3. Replace defective light bulb.
4. Insert reflector insert into the headlight housing.
5. Close headlight housing and fasten with two screws.

7.11.2 Replacing headlight lamp (Wildcat Sport/Trail)

Replace headlight lamp as follows:
1. Remove connector from light bulb socket.
2. Pull protective rubber off of lamp housing.
3. Remove clamp from lamp housing.
4. Replace defective light bulb.
5. Secure light bulb in the lamp housing with the clamp.
6. Push protective rubber onto the lamp housing.
7. Insert connector into the light bulb socket.

7.11.3 Replacing headlight lamp (Prowler)

Replace headlight lamp as follows:
1. Remove connector from light bulb socket.
2. Turn lamp holder anti-clockwise as far as it will go and take it out of the headlight
housing.
3. Press light bulb slightly into the lamp holder, turn anti-clockwise and pull it out.
4. Press new light bulb slightly into the lamp holder and turn clockwise as far as it
will go.
5. Insert the lamp holder into the lamp housing and turn clockwise as far as it will go.
6. Insert connector into the light bulb socket.

7.11.4 Replacing number plate lamp (Wildcat)

Replace number plate lamp as follows:
1. Unscrew screw on lamp glass and remove lamp glass.
2. Pull defective light bulb out of lamp socket.
3. Insert new light bulb into the lamp socket.
4. Position lamp glass and fasten with screw.
