Adding effects such as modulation to the sound

You can apply modulation to the selected sound to create a sensation of rich spacious-
ness, or apply distortion to give the sound an Rock'n Roll character. These are called
Effects.

Press the [CHORUS etc.] switch
The [CHORUS etc.] switch indicator will light, and an effect such as chorus will be
applied to the sound.

Select the desired type of effect
Press the "Type" cell, and use the dial or the [VALUE] switches to change the selection.

Adjust the effect depth
Press the "Balance" cell, and use the dial or the [VALUE] switches to adjust the set-
ting.
The selectable range is Dry (no effect), 01–99, Fx (maximum).

Return to the main screen
If the [DISPLAY HOLD] switch is on, press the [EXIT] switch to return to the main
screen.
Stereo delay
Delay that alternates between left and right channels
Independent mono delays for left and right channels
A single sound will be repeated twice
Same as above, but with different spacing of the two sounds
Same as above
Stereo chorus with left and right channels in opposite phase
Stereo chorus with left and right channels in the same phase
Chorus where the left and right channels are 90 degrees out of phase
Crossover effect
A chorus that is effective on low instruments such as bass
A chorus that is effective on strings
Modulation with left and right channels in the same phase
Modulation with left and right channels in opposite phase
Modulation in opposite phase, but with channels applying feedback to each other
Adds sparkle to the sound to give it better definition
Gives the sound a sense of spaciousness
Hard, solid-state distortion
Warm tube amp distortion
Left and right channels modulated in opposite phase
Left and right channels modulated in the same phase
Simulation of a rotary speaker
An effect that automatically pans the sound in stereo
Tremolo effect
