BOpening/Closing of the Engine Hood
To avoid personal injury:
A Do not open the engine hood with the engine
running unless in an emergency.
A Do not touch the exhaust muffler or the
exhaust pipe; serious burns can occur.
Insert the key into the key slot and turn it clockwise to
open the hood. To close it, lower the hood and hold it
down tightly. Turn the key counterclockwise to lock the
hood.
