Check the brake disc for wear by measuring the minimum thickness with a micrometer at
different points. Replace the disc if the minimum thickness, even at a single point of the disc,
is less than the minimum value.
CAUTION
OPERATIONS TO BE CARRIED OUT WITH BRAKE DISC FITTED ON THE WHEEL.
Characteristic
Minimum value for brake disc thickness:
3.6 mm

Using a dial gauge, check that disc os-
cillation does not exceed the tolerance;
otherwise, replace it.
Characteristic
Brake disc oscillation tolerance:
0.3 mm

Front brake pads

Removal
•
Remove the front brake calliper by un-
screwing the two bolts «1».
Locking torques (N*m)
M8 screw fixing front brake calliper
•
Unscrew and remove the threaded cap
«2».
