Upon successful completion of downloading the code file, the device sends a "Code Update
Successfully Completed" message to the Central Station (R903 00 C803).
Once the Code Update message is either delivered central station or the Old Alarm Time has
expired for that message, the device will reset.
Upon reset, the device will decompress the file that was downloaded. If the decompressed
version passes a CRC check, then that code runs in the device.
If the CRC check fails, the device will run the previously running version of code.
To force the device to revert back to the previous version of code, it must be power-cycled
with the mode switch must be depressed when power is re-applied.

Summary

Initiate a software update via the receiver.
Status LEDs of the device will blink in a marching fashion when the software update
commences and it will send a message to the Central Station indicating that the code update
process has begun.
While the code is being downloaded, certain functions are not available but alarm delivery is
not impaired.
A message is delivered to the Central Station at the end of the download indicating whether
or not the process was successful.
If the process was successful, the device will reset and the code will be decompressed and

the CRC will be verified. If the CRC check fails, the device will continue to run the
previous version of code. Otherwise, the newly downloaded version will run.
There is the ability to revert back to the previous version of code on demand.
