This following table has a list of problems and corrections to aid to the diagnosis of
possible pump malfunctions. The table contains recommended remedies to correct
malfunctions.
Review this list whenever a condition exists that does not appear to be normal.
Perform the specified checks and corrections. If the problem cannot be corrected
remove the pump from service. Troubleshoot it in accordance to section 4.4 and repair it
in accordance with section 4.5.
Function
The charging led plug
does not illuminate when
the grounded pump is
connected to AC.
The battery indication
appears while the device
is plugged to AC battery.
Battery below 7.2V

Troubleshooting Guide
Test
Check the tightness of power
Plug into the AC outlet
Check fuse
Check the power fuses
Check the AC outlet for proper
voltage
Check the device for continuity
Check the position and the
seating of the tubing. Correct
any pinched or chinked tubing.
Check that there are no obstruct
upstream or downstream tubing.
Check the administration set for
correct type or code.

Remedy
Press the power firmly
into the AC outlet
Replace if necessary
Replace the fuses
If the voltage is 5 vac,
connect the pump to a
correct supply voltage.
Connect the power
terminals to an AC outlet
Position the tubing
properly in the pump.
Press run/hold key to
resume operation.
Remove obstruction
and/or open roller clamp.
Replace administration
set if required.
