Submenu Firmware Download

The required firmware for the MAGIC AE1 DAB+ system is always included in
the PC software: Via the Firmware Download you can comfortably down-
load the firmware on your system.
By using the Browse button you select the firmware file. It is always located
in the same directory in which you installed the MAGIC AE1 DAB+ application.
The standard installation directory is:
C:\Program Files\MAGIC AE1 DAB
The file name of the firmware is „ae1dab2.ssw".

Please press the Start button to download the firmware. The Progress bar
displays the progress of the download. The process is finished after about two
minutes. If the download was successful, a corresponding message is dis-
played. After your confirmation the system is reset.
ATTENTION If the download was not successful, you will see in the display the message
.

In this case you must use the RS232 interface to download the software again.
If you are using the LAN interface you must change your settings in the PC
software to the following values (see also Page 35, Using the LAN interface):
– IP Address: 192.168.96.102
– Port: 10000
These LAN settings are already stored in the boot eprom which guarantees
that you will get a connection to the system via IP.
