Battery Removal and Replacement

Battery Return Process

The old battery must be returned to AMX, but only after it has been fully
discharged.
To return the old battery and receive your credit, please perform the following steps:

Connect the supplied battery discharge adaptor to the old battery. Note that the adaptor may remain
warm to the touch for up to 12 hours.
Write the serial number of your unit in the space provided on the BATTERY RETURN PROCESS
form that came with the Battery Replacement Kit.
Affix the supplied preprinted bar-coded serial number label in the space provided on the BATTERY
RETURN PROCESS form.
Place the old rear housing with attached battery and attached discharge adaptor into the original
packing bag and then seal.
Place the sealed bag into the packaging sleeve from the original packing and insert back into the
original shipping box.
Send old rear housing and battery back to AMX per the RMA instructions.
