dPMR operation

The transceiver providing digital Private Mobile Radio (dPMR)
operation meets the 6.25 kHz bandwidth requirements for narrow
band operation. This increases the efficiency of channel allocation
and use of the spectrum.
NOTE: During dPMR operation, BIIS 1200 operation is dis-
abled.

Receiving a call

Receiving an Individual call
When an Individual call is received:

• The transceiver will automatically transmit a return signal.
• The LED indicator blinks orange.
• Beeps sound and the mute is released.
Hold down [PTT], then speak into the microphone.

Release [PTT] to receive.

After the communication is finished, push [Clear] to send a 'Dis-
r
connect' signal to terminate the connection.
NOTE: The LED indicator and Beeps may differ, depending on
the presetting. Ask your dealer for details.
