The next step is to define the input chan-
nels: the Assistant automatically detects
the channels when you operate them at
the transmitter. Move the three-position
switch on your transmitter. The Assistant
does not accept your chosen switch until
you have selected all three flight modes.
Press the SET button when you have made
your choice.
Note: if the Assistant succeeds in detecting the channel, but fails to accept the setting, increa-
se servo travel at the transmitter to -105% to +105% for that channel. If this also fails to cure
the problem, select your transmitter's Servo Monitor, and check that you are only controlling
one channel. It is easy to overlook the fact that the switched channels (DG1 or DG2) also move
- especially if you are using a Futaba system.
Now move your aileron stick: the Assistant
automatically detects whether you are
using one or two channels to control the ai-
lerons. If you accidentally touch a different
function at the transmitter, simply move
the correct one subsequently.
Move to your transmitter's Servo Monitor
to check the setting. Press the SET button
when you have made your choice.
Note: many model jets and warbirds utilise a large number of functions, and you can quite ea-
sily "run out of channels". However, the Royal SRS provides the complete remedy: use just one
channel at the transmitter for each of the functions ailerons, elevator and rudder / nosewheel
steering, then use the Servo Match function to set up the second control surface, and adjust
the direction and end-points accurately.

Here again all you have to do is move the
slider or rotary knob in order to inform the
iGyro of the gain channel. The Assistant
does not accept your choice unless it de-
tects 0% to 100%. Press the SET button
when you have made your choice.
Now move the elevator stick. The Assistant
automatically detects whether you are
using one or two channels to control the
elevators.
Move to your transmitter's Servo Monitor
to check the setting. Press the SET button
when you have made your choice.
