SECTION 3 - MACHINE CONTROLS, INDICATORS AND OPERATION

3.2

DESCRIPTION

This machine is a self-propelled hydraulic lift equipped
with a work platform on an elevating scissor mechanism.
The JLG Scissor Lift has a primary operator Control Station
in the platform. From this Control Station, the operator can
drive and steer the machine in both forward and reverse
directions, raise and lower the platform and, if equipped,
operate the powered deck extension and the outriggers.
The machine has a Ground Control Station which will over-
ride the Platform Control Station. Ground Controls operate
lift up and down. Ground Controls are to be used only in an
emergency to lower the platform to the ground should the
operator in the platform be unable to do so.
