This chapter provides information about software management operations on the system.

Understanding the Local File System

The System Management Card provides control and management for the system.
The local file system is made up of files that are stored on one or more of the following:
• /flash - A CompactFlash card, located on the circuit board of the SMC, is the default storage media for
