Serial Numbers
Serial numbers are required when contacting HP or a reseller for warranty
assistance or for coverage under a service agreement. For future reference,
record the serial and product numbers in the warranty booklet.
The MSM765zl ships as a bundle. From a warranty perspective, a bundle
consists of two separate hardware components:
MSM765zl
Disk drive.
Refer to the warranty booklet for warranty coverage details for each hardware
component.
Meaning
Solid during boot only when the MSM765zl is inserted into a
chassis, soft reboots do not enable this LED. Used to locate
a specific module in an area full of chassis. Enabled by using
the following switch CLI command:
services <slot ID> locate <blink [duration] | off | on
[duration]>
This LED is off by default.
CF/HDD has initialized.
CF/HDD is not detected.
This LED is off by default.
At boot, the MSM765zl Status, HDD Status, and CF Status
LEDs are solid green for ~2s, then solid orange for ~2s, then
back to solid green for ~1s, and finally all are turned off.
The drive is active.
The drive is not active.
There is network activity on one or both internal ports.
If either of the ports fails, the MSM765zl Status LED is set to
blinking orange.
There is no network activity on either port.
