Not Hold In
Up Position
Be sure manual
lowering cable is
properly adjusted.
5 - 22
Activate the platform up
function while
platform
simultaneously activating
holds up
the manual lowering
valve. Test the unit.
platform wont hold up
On the power unit,
remove the return to tank
hose off the T port fitting
leaking
and put it into a bucket
and activate the platfom
up function. Check for
leaking from the hose.
not leaking
While platform is drifting,
yes
is the motor spinning
backwards?
no
Remove the lifting
cylinders and replace
damaged piston seal OR
contact Genie Industries
Service Department.
DPL-25S • DPL-30S • DPL-35S Super Series
Inspect the hydraulic
system for
contamination.
Replace or repair both
N.C. down valves.
Replace or repair all 3
check valves.The first
and second are located in
each lifting cylinder and
the third is located in the
power unit.
