4.1.3 Privacy Mask

The Privacy Mask can block out sensitive areas from view, covering the areas with dark
boxes in both live view and recorded clips. This feature is ideal for locations with displays,
keyboard sequences (e.g. passwords), and for anywhere else you don't want sensitive
information visible. The covered areas cannot be uncovered in the recordings.
To set up the Privacy Mask:
1. In the Video and Motion field, click Privacy Mask. This window appears.

2. Check the Enable option.
3. Drag the area(s) where you want to block out on the image. You will be prompted to
click Add to save the setting.
4. Click the Save button to save all the configurations.
