[Name]
Rename the camera. The name will appear on the Live View.
[Quickly settings by connection type]
Select the type of your network connection. Unless you select Customized, this option will
automatically bring up the recommended video resolution, frame rate (FPS) and bandwidth.
[Video Signal Type]
4 image resolutions are provided.
NTSC

176 x112 (3GPP/MSView)
Auto detect on booting: Automatically detect the type of video input is NTSC or PAL.
[Bandwidth Management]
This option is used to optimize the bandwidth of the MPEG-4 video stream. There are two
modes for bandwidth control.
VBR (Variable Bitrate): VBR varies the bitrate to allocate more bits to complicated
scenes and use as few bits as needed in simple scenes. The bits are much more
efficiently used than a comparable CBR.
Set the image quality to one of the 3 standards: Low, Medium, and High.
CBR (Constant Bitrate): CBR streams the video at a fixed bit rate so that CBR files
have consistent file sizes and image quality. Select one of the 3 bandwidths: 512
kbps, 256 kbps and 128 kbps.
[GOP Structure and Length]
You can set up the size of the key frame of videos. This function is only available when
you select Customized in Quickly settings by connection type.
GOP Size : Set up the size of the key frame for videos.
[Alarm Settings]
The alarm settings allow you to capture images before and/or after a motion or I/O
triggered event is happened.
Pre-alarm buffer x seconds: Start recording before an event occurs. Set the
recording time from 1 to 5 seconds.
