Menu item "Laser"
The laser range finder* (LRF) integrated into the VarioCAM
depending on the target size, the angle, and the surface properties up to a distance of approx. 70 m.
Along with the activation in the "Laser" menu item, the LRF can also be activated and deactivated directly
by pushing the multi-function button

will be displayed in the tool bar below the Jenoptik logo simultaneously with an acoustic
signal (2 x beep). The laser pointer, integrated depending on the equipment, is activated analogueously.
With integrated variants without laser range finder, measurement objects can be marked with a laser
pointer without measuring the distance. This function as well as LRF without updated distance
measurements can be turned on/off with the button "Laser".

On the front of the device, the VarioCAM
pointer* generating a visible laser beam. Avoid looking directly into the laser beam and do not point
the laser beam to other persons. This may damage their eyes.
When installing the thermography system to machines and systems in a stationary manner, it must be
ensured that the laser beam is not located at eye level.
