Hydrostatic (HST) oil filter

NOTE: Change the hydrostatic (HST) system oil filter after the first 50 hours of operation, and then following every
300 hours of operation thereafter.
The hydrostatic system uses a spin-on type oil filter (1),
located on the left-hand side of the tractor underneath the
operator's platform.
To replace the filter:
1. Unscrew the used oil filter and discard.
2. Coat the gasket on the new filter with a film of clean oil.
Screw the filter into place until the gasket contacts the
sealing surface, then tighten the filter by hand approxi-
mately three-quarters of a turn. Do not overtighten.
3. Start the engine and check the filter for leaks.
4. Stop the engine and check the hydraulic system oil
level. Add oil if necessary.
