Maintenance intervals

Maintenance by the

customer
Daily maintenance
! Clean-down the dust filter
! Check roller and side brush for
wear and trapped straps
! Check operation of all operating
devices and indicator lights
Additional maintenance work
every 50 operating hours
! Check voltage, wear, and
function of the drive belt
! Check freedom of movement of
Bowden cables and moving parts
! Check setting and wear of
sealing strips in sweeping area
! Check sweeping pattern of the
main brush
! Check dust filter, clean filter box
tunnel
! Check container cover seals for
proper condition
! Check battery terminals for
oxidation, if necessary brush
clean and apply adequate
terminal grease
! For non-maintenance free
batteries check acid density of
cells
Maintenance according to degree
of wear
! Replace sealing strips
! Replacing the sweep roller
! Replacing the side broom
Note:
Where maintenance is undertaken
by the customer, all service and
maintenance work must be carried
out by a qualified employee.
A Kärcher specialist dealer can be
consulted whenever support is
necessary.

Maintenance tasks

Notes on safety

Warning!
! Stand sweeper on a flat surface
! Turn key switch to "0" and
remove key
Open/close unit cover
! Slightly loosen the hand screw of
the retaining clip for the rear trim
panel and swivel the retaining
clip upwards
! Pull out rear trim panel to the rear
! Unscrew fastening screw of the
unit cover
! Tilt back unit cover
Danger!
When opening the unit cover make
sure that the cover catch engages.
The lock of the unit's cover prevents
it from slamming shut again.

! Lift the catch of the unit cover to
close it
! Screw the cover's fastening
screw back in
! Mount rear trim panel
