CLEANING AND CARE

♦ Stand sweeper on a flat surface.
♦ Adjust "parking brake" operating
mode.
Internal cleaning
Wear dust mask!
Wear safety goggles!
! Clean with a rag.
! Blow-out with compressed air.
External cleaning
Clean with a moist rag.
Note:
Do not use any aggressive cleaning
agents!

MAINTENANCE INTERVALS

Maintenance by the customer

Daily maintenance
! Check roller and side brush for
wear and trapped straps

! Check the engine oil level

Maintenance weekly
! Check the tyre air pressure
! Check engine air cleaner
Maintenance every 50 operating
hours
! For engine oil change, filling
quantity, and type see Technical
Data.
! Check engine air cleaner
! Check the dust filter
! Check battery
! Check the sealing strip
Note:
Where maintenance is undertaken by
the customer, all service and
maintenance work must be carried
out by a qualified employee.
Kärcher dealer can be called in at
any time if necessary.

MAINTENANCE TASKS

Safety instructions

Preparations
! Stand sweeper on a flat surface.
! Adjust "parking brake" operating
mode.
Note:
If the sweeper will be tilted more than
20°, empty the fuel tank beforehand
and drain the engine oil.
Check the engine oil level
Danger of burns!
Let the engine cool-down.
! Turn the machine off on a level
surface
! Clean the area around the oil dip
stick
! Unscrew sealing cover with oil dip
stick
! Wipe the oil dip rod and push it in
! Pull-out the oil dip rod
♦ The oil level must be between the
"Min" and the "Max" marks.
♦ Top up the engine oil if the oil level
is below the "Min" mark.
♦ Do not fill up beyond "Max".

Refill engine oil

! Turn the machine off on a level
surface
! Clean the area around the oil dip
stick
! Unscrew sealing cover with oil dip
stick
Fill-in engine oil
♦ Oil types: See technical data.
! Close the oil fill opening
! Wait for at least 5 minutes
! Check the engine oil level
