How do I use the Digital I/O port?

The Digital I/O port, located on the rear panel
14 digital I/O lines
read high or low logic levels, and can be set up for triggering. Make connections
using a cable with a Male DB-25 connector (Keithley Instruments part number CA-
126-1).

Controlling the Digital I/O port

From the front panel, select MENU > GENERAL > DIGOUT > DIG_IO_OUTPUT,
then enter the decimal value to set I/O lines high or low (16,383 maximum).
Commands for basic I/O are summarized in
lines high, send:
digiowriteport(16383).
Refer to Section 10 of the Series 2600 Reference Manual for com-
plete details on the Digital I/O port.
